May - Gruber's Quilt Shop

Sue from Gruber's Quilt Shop was our speaker. Gruber's is celebrating their 30th Anniversary.  They carry well over 10,000 bolts of fabric, hundreds of books & patterns, from appliqué to paper-piecing, and an incredible selection of yarn. They also have a Retreat Center right across the street.  They are located in Waite Park(right next to St. Cloud).  You can check out there blog on the side bar.

This is our new block for the "block of the month" lotto drawing.

Some of the member with their finish Trapunto quilting projects from the class they took this past month. Trapunto is another way to add texture and dimension to your quilting. By stuffing or filling an area, then quilting it, a raised surface, or relief, is formed that gives shape to stems, leaves, and other motifs. It’s a very elegant look!
